This is an original abstract using acrylic paint, watercolours and artist marker on linen cotton canvas that includes at Chilean Pine wood external frame. My inspiration comes from living on the doorstop of to the Blue Mountains NSW, and being surrounded by enchanting wooded forests. My inner soul becomes alive when I connect to these sourroundings as it gives me a sense of grounding and calmness. I am particularly mesmerized by the patterns in nature, from the tangled bush to the simple but elegant shaped gum leaves and the wild native flora existing like a tapestry of colours and textures. In this artwork I have included some native flowers such as the Kangaroo Paw and the Protea flower as I find their shapes and many variants of colours fascinating. Hope you enjoy exploring 'Whispers in the Wild'. This artwork includes varnish for protection and a certificate of authenticity.
