This artwork is an original abstract using acrylic paint and artist markers on cotton canvas. My inspiration for this artwork comes from the fascination I have in using contrasting elements while using patterns to create form, and here 'Sunset Glow' is a fusion of contrasts that combines free flowing organic like textures with mezmerising striking bold stripes that are weaved together creating a harmonic and atmospheric landscape. I wanted to use a limited colour palette including a graduation of hues of orange, burgundy, pink, tan and white of which this combination creates an overall warm sunny glow that reminds me of those long and hot sunsets in summer.
This artwork would could also be paired with 'Summer Scent' that is also listed or could be perfect on its own.
This artwork is ready to hang with sides painted and is varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity. Images of artwork with frame is an indication of how the artwork would look framed.
