Description:
This artwork is an original abstract using acrylic paint and artist markers on cotton canvas. My inspiration for this artwork comes from the fascination I have in using contrasting elements while using patterns to create form, and here 'Summer Scent' is a fusion of contrasts that combines free flowing organic like textures with mezmerising striking bold stripes that are weaved together creating a harmonic and atmospheric landscape. I wanted to use a limited colour palette including a graduation of hues of orange, burgundy, pink, tan and white of which this combination creates an overall warm sunny glow that reminds me of those beautiful long and hot summer days.
This artwork is ready to hang that includes beautifully made raw oak frame and is varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity.
