Days Like These is an is an original seascape inspired by the Cape Byron walking track up to the lighthouse in Byron Bay, NSW. Austalian native banksias line the landscape, like a natural frame to the blues and greens of the ocean below. You never know what you will see along that walk. I have seen whales, dolphins, koalas, goannas, stingrays, bush turkeys, wallabies and many different types of birds. But it's always the banksias that linger in my mind. We all have that favourite place, the place we go to seek solitude and the beauty of nature. This is mine.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, framed in a beautiful oak box frame. It is finished in satin varnish and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
