Artist Spotlight Susan Trudinger

Susan has been involved with the creative arts all her life and her inspiration comes from the natural world. Creativity is an integral part of her life which allows her to live fully in present. Her goal is always to try and bring visual enjoyment and beauty to others. Susan's subject matter is primarily landscapes and still life and she uses this subject matter to explore the many and varied different colours, shapes and forms that exist in both. That is why her style is constantly changing. Susan works in acrylic, gouache, watercolour pencils, ink, pencil and charcoal. Influences include Australian landscape artists such as Arthur Boyd and Brett Whitely, post impressionism and photography. Susan’s work is represented in private collections throughout Australia and internationally.

Art That Lifts The Heart

One of the Gold Coast Gallery Of Art's core missions is to bring art that lifts the spirit. There’s a special kind of joy in exploring works that feel optimistic, inspiring, and hopeful. Feature joyful colours, places of nostalgia, childhood memories or just a collection of the artists favourite things.  The Gold Coast Gallery of Art achieves this through carefully curated collections that emphasize themes of connection, joy, imagination, wonder, and calm.

Whether it’s a gentle seascape that exudes tranquility and contentment or an abstract piece bursting with vibrant color, each artwork serves as a reminder of the beauty that can be found even in the simplest forms.
