My painting journey began in 2024 after a visit to an Art Fair in Brisbane unexpectedly lit a spark in me. For 12 years I’d been a passionate papercrafter, but somewhere along the way that creative joy had faded. Standing in a room full of incredible artwork moved me so deeply that I went home that very day and picked up a paintbrush—and I haven’t stopped since.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"1176\"\u003eMy work is driven by a love of colour, texture and pattern, expressed through an intuitive style that I’d describe as fun, whimsical and joyfully maximalist. I find immense comfort and therapy in the creative process, and you’ll often see recurring motifs throughout my pieces: dots, circles, squiggles, rhombuses, dashes and swirling movements. I love getting hands-on with my materials—finger painting, building texture with unexpected tools and letting spontaneity take the lead. Music is almost always playing in the studio, and I feel it shapes the mood and rhythm of each piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1566\"\u003eCreativity has always been an important anchor for me, especially when navigating my own mental and physical health challenges. I truly believe creative expression is essential for wellbeing.
